For the sixth year in a row, organized by the association “Breza” from the municipality of Krnjak, and with the financial assistance of the municipality Krnjak and Krnjak Primary School, the International Day of Older Persons was celebrated on Friday, October 2, in the sports hall of Katarina Zrinski Primary School in Krnjak.
A special program was performed by students of the Primary School Katarina Zrinski that expressed their musical and literary talents for over a hundred elderly persons and other guests.
The musical part was orchestrated by the duo Milovan Nikolic, playing the accordion, and Milic Gazibara, playing the flute, while later the Music section of the Serbian Cultural Association “Prosvjeta” Krnjak had the task of maintaining a joyful atmosphere.
The present were addressed by the president of the “Breza” association, Ms. Željka Bunčić, head of the school Ms. Željka Stojković, and the head of the municipality of Krnjak, Mr. Dejan Mihajlovic.
Civil Rights Project Sisak was also among the attendees of the celebration.
