On 17 October 2012, CRP Sisak, Josipa Kovacevic, Milana Kreca and Sasa Zeljug, visited the Legal Clinic of the Law Faculty of the University in Zagreb. The first part of the meeting was held in the Clinic’s premises in the Tkalciceva Street, where the students received the free legal aid clients. The students presented their work and CRP Sisak presented the British Embassy financed project „Strengthening the role of NGOs in providing of primary legal aid“.
The other part of the meeting was held at the Law Faculty with the Head of the Clinic, Professor Alan Uzelac and his assistants Barbara Preloznjak and Sladjana Aras. It was agreed to continue the cooperation between CRP and the Clinic, as well as to intensify it through the above mentioned project with the aim to improve the Croatian free legal aid system. The cooperation will also continue through the work of the Clinic mobile teams in the field, i.e. in towns and municipalities in the Sisak-Moslavina County, where there is need for free legal aid.
