As a part of the activities of the “Sisak colourful inclusion” program, the Inclusion Mobile Team of the City of Sisak, consisting of representatives of City of Sisak, Centre for social welfare, Health centre Sisak and Dr. Ivo Pedišić Hospital, and which is coordinated by CRP Sisak, organized on 16th of February 2017 two informational – educational workshops for Roma population from Palanjek and Capraške poljane. Considering the theme of the workshop – vaccination in child population, the workshops were attended even by some non-Roma population.
The first workshop was held in Elementary school Galdovo – Branch School Hrastelnica, and it was attended, beside the representatives of organization, by about 20 representatives of Roma national minority, while the Community House in Roma settlement Capraške poljane was too small for all those who wanted to attend the workshop.
The workshops consisted of two parts. In the first part, there was a presentation of the representatives of Dr. Ivo Pedišić Hospital, and in the second part, everyone had an opportunity to ask some question and give an example of child diseases etc.
Great impressions from first workshops are guarantee that the implementation of the project will be successful.
