STAR2 “ELDERLY PEOPLE NEED TO THINK ACTIVELY”

INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP ON THE RIGHT TO THE INCLUSIVE ALLOWANCE: BARRIERS AND CHALLENGES IN EXERCISING THIS RIGHT

On October 21, 2026, CRP Sisak held an interactive workshop in the Municipality of Vojnić regarding the right to the “Inclusive Allowance.” The event was part of the STAR2 program (“Elderly People Need to Think Actively”), implemented by CRP Sisak in cooperation with the Municipality of Vojnić and the Municipality of Topusko.

The program is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy.

Workshop participants were informed about how to exercise their rights to the Inclusive Allowance, the practical barriers citizens often encounter, and upcoming changes related to this entitlement.

The workshop was attended by 21 participants, including volunteers who showed great interest in the topic and were actively engaged in discussions and the exchange of experiences. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their own experiences, and receive clear, practical information regarding the application process, required documentation, and the necessary steps to take. Such gatherings are essential for ensuring that information reaches those who need it most, especially in smaller communities.
