On April 10, 2026, CRP Sisak participated in the ceremonial award of contracts for financing projects for the provision of primary legal aid, which are implemented based on the Decision on the allocation of funds from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia for 2026.
A total of 1,000,637.86 euros has been secured for the implementation of projects in 2026, and the funds have been allocated for 22 projects of authorized associations and four projects of legal clinics at the law faculties in Zagreb, Rijeka, Osijek and Split. CRP Sisak is among the selected project holders.
This year, contracts were concluded with a total of 26 authorized associations and legal clinics, which begins a new three-year period of project implementation lasting from 2026 to 2028.
The aim of funding these projects is to ensure accessible and evenly distributed primary legal aid throughout Croatia, with a special emphasis on supporting vulnerable and socially sensitive groups. This includes people with disabilities, victims of violence and domestic violence, members of national minorities, whistleblowers, as well as pensioners and the elderly.
By participating in this program, CRP Sisak continues its work to improve the availability of legal aid and protect the rights of citizens who need such support the most.
