On 22 and 23 Septemeber 2016 in Sisak, CRP Sisak, Milana Kreca participated in a regional discussion held within the project „National platform for inclusion of Roma“. The regional discussion was organised by the Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The Directorate General for Justice and Consumers (DG JUST) of the European Commission, at the end of 2015, invited member states to create national platforms for Roma in accordance with the European Platform for Roma. The National Platform is supposed to be a place for discussions, consultations and inclusion of all stakeholders, especially of Roma, in implementation of the National Strategy for Inclusion of Roma until 2020. The first regional discussion was held in Sisak and it included all fields of work of the National Strategy at local level related to education, employment, health and housing. The stakeholders at local and regional level stated their needs and challanges faced in implementation of the National Strategy, as well as potential solutions for improvements in implementation.
