On 25 March 2021, CRP Sisak officially opened the Center for Integration of Foreigners in Sisak.
This project has been composed of the entire work of CRP Sisak for many years. The specificity of the project is that the Center for the Integration of Foreigners works with all foreigners in the Republic of Croatia, who do not have an adequately regulated status. These are persons seeking international protection, persons under international protection, persons resettled to the Republic of Croatia under international protection within the resettlement program, Roma, Serb returnees and stateless persons. We hope that in this way the Center will contribute to the mutual integration of different categories of foreigners and their integration into Croatian society.
We were joined by our project partners, representatives of the Active Citizens Fund on behalf of the donors of this project, the Office of the Ombudsman headed by Tena Šimonović Einwalter, who was sworn in as the new Ombudsman, Ministry of Interior, Red Cross Sisak, „Braća Bobetko“ school principal, Merhamet Sisak and colleagues and associates from civil society.
We are immensely grateful to all the participants who provided us with support and nice words today.
