Activists of the Platform 044 – for a better future of the Sisak-Moslavina County informed citizens of Sisak

The members of the association and activists of CRP Sisak were informing the citizens of Sisak in its centre on 25^th of May 2016, which represents one of the activities of the Platform 044. The aim of this action was to point out to citizens the necessity to participate in creation of the public policies. This is one of the objectives of the Platform 044 – for a better future of the Sisak-Moslavina County. At the same time, CRP activists shared information and promotional materials (leaflets and badges) and encouraged citizens to express their opinion about what they like, what bothers them or what they would like to change in their local community. They were also encouraged to write their suggestions and critics on small paper and put them into the designated boxes. Members of the Platform 044 have already installed the boxes in the early spring this year and set them up in various places in the Sisak-Moslavina County. Members of the Platform, representatives of 12 associations, family farms and cooperatives from Sisak and the surrounding area will then analyse the collected ideas, compliments, comments and suggestions; combine them and forward them to the relevant institutions / departments, as well as inform the public in the Sisak-Moslavina County.

The following, similar activities will be organized and carried out in other places of the Sisak-Moslavina County, in cooperation with other members of the Platform 044.

This is to once again call the public to take an action and involve themselves in creation of the public policies in their communities and thus contribute to efforts that lead to improving the quality of life for all of us in Sisak-Moslavina County.

As a reminder, the Platform 044 – Together for a better future of the Sisak-Moslavina County, financially supported by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, is consisted of CRP Sisak and 11 civil society organizations from the Sisak-Moslavina County. Those organizations are: IKS Association, Youth Association “New World” Luščani, Center for Rural Initiatives, Red Cross in Glina, Cooperative Eco Development, Civic initiative – My town Sisak, Association of Boatmen Sisak, Coordination of Sports Associations, Association of the Blind of the Sisak-Moslavina County, Roma Cultural Centre and Family Farm Franić.
