On 5th and 6th of October 2013, CRP Sisak attended “Kestenijada” chestnut festival in Hrvatska Kostajnica and, in accordance with activities within the project “Europe on my farm”, financed by the EU through IPA INFO 2012 programme, set an info desk.
Through two days of promotion, the info desk was visited by over 400 visitors that were directly informed on goals of the project. The accent was put on making of rakija, as the season of making of plum brandy was ongoing. CRP distributed its brochure „Rakija“in which citizens could find all about new regulation on making of rakija. The citizens were also informed that similar brochures would be made on production of cheese and sour cream, as well as on meat and meat products. The citizens were very interested in those issues, as they have many doubts and prejudices.
CRP also distributed 35 sets of hand tools, shovel and rake, which would help them in their daily work.
