The celebration of the International Roma Day was organised in Sisak on 10 April 2012. The celebration was organized by the County Council of the Roma minority and the Roma associations in Sisak. CRP Sisak had a privilege to participate in the celebration. President of the County Council of the Roma minority, Mr Stanoje Nikolić pointed out the importance of organised work for the benefit of the Roma minority in the Sisak area and thanked all the guests who came to the event. Mr Veljko Kajtazi, the Roma representative in the Croatian Parliament participated in the ceremony, as well as the representatives of the Sisak-Moslavina County, Town of Sisak, Office for Social Welfare Sisak, activists and representatives of civil society and various
initiatives of Roma from Sisak and the surrounding area. An engagement of the Roma folklore associations from Sisak and Kutina, “Black Pearls”
and “Kutina Pearls” through various songs and dances on stage made a whole celebration more interesting and cheerful.
