Study visit to the Family farm “Džakula” in Sjeverovac

CRP Sisak organised one day study visit to the Family farm “Džakula” in
Sjeverovac, near Sunja on 2nd of July. Almost 40 participants, mostly
from different villages near Petrinja, organised by CRP Sisak and its
partner Youth organisation New World from Luščani traveled to
Sjeverovac in order to visit the Family farm and attend one day
seminar “Trends in farming and agriculture” that covered several topics:
tendency in family farming (especially because of our present accession
to EU and its standards), ecological agricultural production and its
vision, system of income tax and value added tax in agriculture.
Theoretical part consisted mainly of presentation but participants
have also asked questions and they were advised.
After a short break, everybody took a tour over the farm where
Mr Rodoljub Džakula showed his stables and cattle, discussed with
participants about many different approaches in breeding the cattle
(pigs, cows, sheep, horses, etc.) Lunch was also organised there so
everybody had possibility to taste domestic food products.
