Human rights forum in the Citizens’ Centre Glina

20 November 2009 – human rights forum held in the Citizens’ Centre Glina.
The forum was organised to present and discuss basic human rights and freedoms. The lecturer was Mr. Paal Nesse from the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) from Oslo, who gave lecture on protection of human rights, with special accent on situation in Croatia and experience that NRC had in Croatia. He also shared experiences that NRC had around the world. It was concluded that methods of violation of human rights by state are similar in different conflict areas. Paal Nesse also spoke about situation regarding refugees and asylum seekers in Norway.
