15 October 2009 – dialogue workshop was held in the Citizens’ Centre Glina.
The workshop was organised to discuss “Communication, tolerance and characteristics of life adaptation in post war local community”. 15 participants were active in the workshop. The participants worked on the following issues: communication, stress and trauma, life losses and adaptation, defence mechanisms and tolerance. The aim of the workshop was development of dialogue, acceptance of differences and encouraging of adapting capacities in the post-war local community among participants of different cultural characteristics. This workshop reached the first objective, which was development of peaceful dialogue: participants of different age, education, profession, culture, different life experiences and national background were put together, listening to each other, discussing together and actively participated in the workshop.
