On November 7, 2025, CRP Sisak held an educational workshop on the topic “Culture and diversity of the Romani language” on the occasion of the World day of Romani Language, which is celebrated on November 5.
The educational workshop was held in the premises of the Zvonimir Franko Elementary School in Kutina, for seventh grade students.
The students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the diversity of the Romani language and its dialects, as well as its cultural importance. There was also talk about the flexibility of the Romani language, which takes on and forms words from the languages of the countries in which the Roma are located, thus forming different dialects.
The educational workshop was also attended by Ranko Nikolić, president of the Association for the Development and Better Life of Roma, and Goran Jašarević, as associates and interlocutors.
We thank the staff and students of the Zvonimir Frank Elementary School for the invitation and for the pleasant and useful socializing! 😊
