National plan for fighting against discrimination

On 29 June 2016 in the premises of the Centre for Civil Initiatives in Zagreb, informal consultations were held among non-governmental and other interested organizations, including CRP Sisak, as part of the consultations on the draft National Plan to combat discrimination for the period from 2016 to 2021 and the draft action plan for its implementation in the period 2016-2018 The meeting was attended by representatives of the Office of the Ombudsman, Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities of the Croatian Government and representatives of various civil society organizations interested in participating in the consultations. The consultations were aimed at better shared understanding of the strategy and action plan. The meeting adopted proposals to supplement and update the draft National Plan to combat discrimination for the period from 2016 to 2021, which will contribute with the existing Anti-Discrimination Act to better protection of all citizens regarding discrimination.
