On 5th of May 2014, in the Sisak-Moslavina County the manifestation “Day of Europe” and “Week of Europe” started. For the theme of this manifestation, the organizer chose rural development and development of agriculture, so our project „Europe in my farm“ was a perfect example to be exposed. The manifestation started with opening of the exposition „Sisak in the heart of Europe“ in which, beside the CRP promotion stand, Sisak-Moslavina County, Development Agency of Sisak-Mosalvina County and family farms also had their promotion stands.
CRP used this opportunity to, through direct interaction with the citizens, and distribution of the promotion materials, inform and educate people about the new legislation on producing of farm products characteristic for the Sisak-Moslavina County, which is the main goal of the project.
Beside the citizens, even the employees of the Sisak-Moslavina County, as well as other people, showed a big interest for our project, emphasizing it as a positive example on how a NGO from the urban centre of the County can, through good implementation of a project, raise quality of living in the rural area.
