{"id":2247,"date":"2016-05-09T18:57:01","date_gmt":"2016-05-09T18:57:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.crpsisak.hr\/?p=2247"},"modified":"2016-05-09T18:57:01","modified_gmt":"2016-05-09T18:57:01","slug":"drugi-radni-sastanak-lokalne-platforme-za-rome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crpsisak.hr\/en\/2016\/05\/drugi-radni-sastanak-lokalne-platforme-za-rome\/","title":{"rendered":"Second meeting of the \u201cLocal Platform for Roma\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 28<sup>th<\/sup> April 2016 in Sisak, the Civil Rights Project Sisak organized the second meeting of the \u201cLocal Platform for Roma\u201d, coordination body that has been created as an activity of the project \u201cThe Importance of Being Roma\u201d. The implementation period of the project is from 1<sup>st<\/sup> November 2015 \u2013 31<sup>st<\/sup> October 2016, and it is financed by the European Union, with the co-financing by the Croatian Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the fact that all stakeholders are familiar with the main goal of the project, which is encouraging the members of Roma national minority to declare themselves as members of Roma national minority, which is why the theme of the first meeting was \u2013 STATUS RIGHTS, this time the theme was \u2013 education of the members of Roma national minority.<\/p>\n<p>Beside the representatives of the members of the Local Platform for Roma, we have also invited representatives of educational institutions that work with Roma children \u2013 Elementary School \u201cBra\u0107a Bobetko\u201d and kindergarten \u201cSisak Novi\u201d. From these institutions, we were able to get information directly from the field.
