CRP Sisak, after starting the initiative in mid-2022, again wrote to the Ministry of Social Welfare on 24 March 2023, asking for proposed changes to be implemented, because it was established that registering of social welfare compensation to the land registry as debts is not fair and not in any social state regulations.
On 6 April 2023, the Ministry replied to CRP Sisak by saying that the Government of the Republic of Croatia would by 15 July 2023., i.e. by the summer break, deliver the Draft to the Changes of the Social Welfare Act, which would contain the articles related to the disputed registration in land registry.
CRP will continue following the issue and react if and when needed.
