The Civil Rights Project officially opened its new premises on 13th of March 2015. The new office has been active for several months. The office is located in Sisak at S. and A. Radića Street no. 6/5. The official opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor of Sisak, Deputy Prefect of Sisak-Moslavina County, representatives of UNHCR Mission to Croatia, UNDP Croatia, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, the Ombudsman office, Municipal Court Sisak, State Administration Office in Sisak-Moslavina County, as well as representatives of associates, partners and friends from Sisak and the surrounding area who were representing their respective associations and initiatives. President of the association, Milana Kreća has expressed gratitude to all present for participation and reminded them of CRP’s activities and its accomplishments. She then handed over stage to the Deputy Mayor Marko Krička and then to the representative of UNHCR Mission in Croatia Kristina Benić-Belavić, who both underlined the importance of the association and its impact for the citizens of Sisak and its surroundings, and to all those who needed our help. Attorney at Law from Sisak, Dušanka Nenadović in her speech put special attention to cooperation with CRP and our joint work on resolving of the clients’ legal cases, the reason because clients come to CRP on daily bases.
The official part was followed by a reception where participants talked more in a relaxed atmosphere.
