On 5 April 2014 CRP Sisak team visitedthe villageof Paukova, which is settled in the Municipality of Sunja. We have already introduced you to the activities of the project “Europe on my farm” financed by the EU through IPA INFO 2012 Programme. One of the most interesting activities of the project is “door to door visits”, through which CRP tries to reach rural population, who does not have possibility to come to our main office in Sisak or one of our branch offices for legal advising.
In the village of Paukova, there are 16 households, although there are many more houses that are empty. Population, which is mostly of middle and old age, is very poorlyconnected by public transportation with the rest of the County, and that is one of the reasons why they are uninformed about the legislation that influence their home production of traditional goods.
Through this visit, CRP visited 13 households and informed 30 residents about the new legislation.
Beside the CRP team, this visit was accompanied by our colleagues from the Student TV, from the Facultyof Political Science in Zagreb, who recorded the story about our visit, within their project financed through the same programme of the EU. This TV show will be uploaded on our web site.
